GUIDE
Getting Started
Everything you need to configure DWERK for your first site and start verifying physical work.
What you do first
You are a Facility Admin. Your first task is to create your first site in the DWERK console. A site is any physical location where work happens — a building, a campus block, a facility floor. Every operational record in DWERK is tied to a site.
Setting up your first site
Give your site a name and a short site code. The site code is used across all records and reports as a unique identifier.
Set a shift window — the hours during which staff are expected to be present. Configure a grace period that defines how long after shift start a late check-in is flagged as an exception.
Choose a geo mode. Soft mode logs the GPS location of every check-in without enforcing proximity. Hard mode requires staff to be within a configured radius of the site before they can check in.
Add staff assigned to that site. Each staff member will use the mobile app to check in and out.
What staff do
Staff check in via the DWERK mobile app when they arrive at a site. Each check-in captures a selfie photo, GPS coordinates, device identity, and a timestamp. This evidence is written to the operational record immediately — not retrospectively, not on behalf of someone else.
What becomes visible
Once staff begin checking in, the Command Center shows live operational state — who is present, who is absent, which sites have coverage gaps.
Exceptions surface automatically when check-ins are missed or late. Every event is replayable from the operational record. Nothing is overwritten.
